My disease is as rare as it is famous. Basically, I’m allergic to the world. I don’t leave my house, have not left my house in seventeen years. The only people I ever see are my mom and my nurse, Carla.
But then one day, a moving truck arrives next door. I look out my window, and I see him. He’s tall, lean and wearing all black—black T-shirt, black jeans, black sneakers, and a black knit cap that covers his hair completely. He catches me looking and stares at me. I stare right back. His name is Olly.
Maybe we can’t predict the future, but we can predict some things. For example, I am certainly going to fall in love with Olly. It’s almost certainly going to be a disaster.

Everything everything is a book that views the reality of a girl who has SCID a kind of sickness that prevents you from going out, I watched the movie before reading the book and I was grateful I did, If I had read the book first, I might not have been able to watch the movie (this has happened to me before) because the movie does not totally portray the book.
I enjoyed this book, and I also liked the insta love whiff that transpired between maddy and olly, I rooted for their love, and wanted to make sure they ended up together even though the law of nature was against them.
And I didn’t really like maddy’s mother, I know she was trying to protect her daughter, but I still had this feeling she was trying to prevent her from living, even though it was for her to live (weird right).
Another reason I hated her was when she asked carla to leave, I hated her so much there. And when her daughter refused to forgive her at a point, I actually rooted for maddy. Lol
I liked olly’s character, he is the usual YA twist romance guy, who pretends to care for you but wants you to defy all odds to be with him (my thoughts) and maddy was the girl who fitted perfectly for that role.
I have mixed feelings for maddy’s life, I won’t say she wasn’t living, I would say she had a world of her own and wasn’t contented, and maybe that lack of contentment was good, cause its brought her to the reality of her life, I just wished she had friends who could visit, or other people she played games with apart from her mother.
I Love the ending, I love it when people get what they want at the end. Though it didn’t have so much twists, corners and mysteries that would have made it more intriguing.

I will give Everything Everything 3/5 stars ⭐⭐⭐
