To all the boys I’ve loved before trilogy by Jenny Han

4.5 stars (For the 3 books in the series)

The 3 books: To all the boys i’ve loved before; Ps: I still love you, Always and forever, Lara jean, were great reads for me.

Lara Jean Song Covey is a female character you will absolutely love. I Love her very much, she is totally my type pf main character, I also love her relationship with her sisters, the song sisters are just so amazing , most Ya books portray sisters who are always fighting about boys, they are never close, always bickering hateful words at each other but the Song sisters are not like that. Ofcourse, they fought about boys, Ofcourse they have misunderstandings , but they know how to get back together, it’s  nice to see sisters with really great relationships.

This book will get you excited, will teach you new things, will make you hungry (there were so many cooking, food names and eating ), it will also make you realise that love can come from anywhere, even places you never looked or places you were not expecting.

I Love how Lara’s love story started, how she met peter and their sweet love story.

Good news; the sequel, ps:I love you is being made into a motion picture.

Every one of the books in the series has my 4.5 stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐?

Slammed trilogy by colleen hoover

4.8 stars (For each book in the series)

Imagine losing both of your parents and having to be a father and brother to your little brother, imagine meeting a girl, falling strongly in love with her knowing she feels the same, then eventually finding out you are her high school teacher.

Imagine living opposite that same girl, imagine a very bad thing befalling that girl that makes her end up in the same position as you.

Imagine falling in love with someone and having to hold back because of unfavorable circumstances.

This was the case for Will and Layken. Colleen hoover had me again with this amazing trilogy. Slammed, Point of retreat, This girl, are books I definitely want to read again.

The poetry and quotes in the book were absolutely astounding.

I have a review on my goodread. You can check it out.

I started with Crazy book. It is really my type of crazy.

I enjoyed this book and the suspense at the end was epic.

I really really wish there would be a sequel.

4 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐

One of us is lying by Karen M McManus

If you need a suspense filled book that will make you turn your pages faster than you’ve ever done, kindly get you a Karen m mcmanus book. You will question yourself, question the book and then when you realise at the end that you had guessed it all wrong then you’d know you had just stumbled upon a great book. I’d definitely reread.

5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A sequel to this book: One of us is next will be published by Delacorte press by January 7th 2020

Two can keep a secret by Karen M McManus

The title reminds me of the series Pretty little liars, I actually started reading this book because I thought it would be something alike, but this book is obviously more thrilling with characters that actually has nothing to do with PLL

I think I’d be reading more of Karen’s books, this too got me turning the pages. This book will make you distrust every character even the ones that are supposed to be your favorite. But can you even imagine how it felt knowing the killer? I was like, what? Wait, what??

You’re in for a treat with this book.

5 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

All your perfects by Colleen Hoover

I listened to the audiobook, this is the very first audiobook I finished listening to and it has made me like audiobooks, I’m definitely doing more of them.

“if you only shine light on your flaws, all your perfects will dim”

I wrote this and pasted it on my wall, cause it was more than just a sentence, it holds so much deep meaning.

A couple with a very sweet love story gets married but find it hard to have a child, and then the wife starts to detest herself, her lovemaking with her husband, her husband, cheats, she finds out, then she leaves the house.

This book showed me that love isn’t enough in marriage, there are just so much realities that it takes so much more to keep a marriage going, communication which should never be an exception.

I loved the dedication of the husband and how he didn’t give up on them. It was a really wonderful read.

Geekerella by Ashley Piston

5 stars

A book about fan fictions, dreams, step mothers, Cinderella retellings, online love, and a future than can only be dreamed of.

A popular actor darien meets an ordinary girl elle in this fascinating fairy tale retelling book.

5 stars for all of the goodness inside of it.

We should all be Feminist by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

5 stars

We should all be Feminist is a great and relateable book. I wish I could love the book more than I do or even rate it higher than 5.

It would teach you about the inequality of this world, its unfairness to not just girls, but also boys. It will open your eyes to see if you have not yet seen the dangers of gender roles in our society. I learnt a great deal from it. And it was a really fast read for me.

5 stars

The Hundred Wells of Salaga by Ayesha Harruna Attah

4.5/5 stars

Wurche a strong willed woman whom I really adore meets a lady from a small town, Aminah. When I read the synopsis of this book, what I read didn’t exactly explain what I met in this book, but I really enjoyed it. Its exceeded my expectations. And I love the different but brilliant decisions that the two female characters took at the end.

4.5 stars

Worlds collide by Alison Strobel

In this book a young journalist who never thought God existed gave her life to Christ after a life changing interview with the most popular couples in Hollywood.

Him, Her and I by Opeyemi O. Akintunde

4/5 stars

A fast read for me, I had gotten this book in hopes that I’d just read something light. But it turned out light but powerful.

The book is about a lady who made several wrong decisions in her bid to get a man to marry. She completely left God out of the equation of helping her find the right man. But her greed and indecisiveness soon lead her down the path she hates the most.

But God’s mercy soon bring her out when she thought it was too late.

4 stars to this mind jugging book

The Seven husbands of Evelyn hugo by Tailor Jenkins Reid

4/5 stars

Evelyn hugo a woman whose story fascinates me and from the beginning to the end, I was in awe of her life story, attitude, composure and all that she did.

A powerful woman to the world, but so many sad stories inside of her. Her story, even though it was fiction, makes me see a lot of celebrities in new light.

‘Just behind all of the glamour and blings, their true life lies and it might not be sweet to the ears’

I absolutely love this book and even though I don’t think I’d read it again, it was a nice read for me.

4 stars
