Do not disturb

The Do Not Disturb feature in your phone system settings is a feature that is mostly overlooked and least used.

Instead of spending money on productivity apps and tools that will need an upgrade and sometimes crash, try the do not disturb on your phone system settings.

It is a great tool that keeps you from distractions

when you’re using your phone or when you need to work but you don’t want to get notifications, sounds, and distracting pop-ups.

For Writing and Sharing Documents Seamlessly

Google Docs

Google Docs is my favorite app for writing.

I write all my blog posts on Google docs before I send them to WordPress.

It allows me to work and write uninterruptedly whether I’m online or offline.

I can also switch devices without losing my work.

Google Docs also saves instantly, thereby reducing your worry of losing any project you’re working on.

The interesting part about Google docs is that you can share your writing with anyone.

You can decide if you want them to view or edit when you send them the link to your document.

You can work together and collaborate with another person regardless of their location on Google Docs.

If you’re a blog writer, you will enjoy using Google Docs because you can set your Headings 1, 2, 3 and paste it on WordPress (or other blogging platforms) without a format error.

You can also hyperlink your sentences through Google docs.

It gives you a drop down of possible links you might need to hyperlink when you select the insert link option.

All in all, Google Docs is free and seamless to use.

Easy to understand and easy to work with on any device.

It’s my favorite app right now and it has been making blogging easy for me.

I can also find any of my write-ups just by searching for them on my Google Docs account.

There is also no fear of losing my documents because they are tied to my Google account.

Phone Alarm System

There is so much the alarm system on your phone can do that you don’t know about. I wrote a whole blog post on it here.

With your phone alarm system, you can set reminders and goals, set habit trackers, work on your sleeping habit, set your daily activities, and so much more.

It can basically do the work of a todo list or goal settings app seamlessly, whether you’re online or offline.

Handpicked for you: Things You Never Knew Your Phone Alarm System Could Do

Google Calendar

Google calendar is one productivity tool that you should take advantage of.

If you need to set reminders and schedules and you want it to reflect across your Google account then Google Calendar is a great option.

If you set your schedule on Google Calendar, you can easily see it on the other apps connected to your Google account.

This way, if you’ve forgotten you had a meeting, your Google Calendar will reflect your schedule to remind you.

You can also use it as a reminder for tasks you want to complete.

It will always show you a notification at the top of your screen.

The only downside is that if you’re not online, you won’t receive a notification which can be an issue if you forgot.

But your alarm system can serve as a reminder for you.

Hootsuite

Hootsuite is a social media scheduler that helps you schedule your social media posts earlier before the intended date.

This way, you don’t have to worry about rushing to post on social media at the last minute.
